It's our 6th year participating in SGH Musicfest! This year, our singer-songwriter, Lin Si Tong, led her students from 365 Cancer Prevention Society to perform in this event.
This group of cancer survivors sang and played tunes from all-time-favourites on the ukulele during this MusicFest. They have been preparing diligently for the past few months and were hoping to present the best of them to the patients at SGH with the aim of encouraging others to bravely overcome all the challenges, because the journey to recovery might be a long and torturing process.
Well done everyone!
Finally the album is released! Congrats to William Cai 蔡卫廉 on the release of your new album《我的一生活在你心底 My Love Story》after 26 years of hiatus. Your pursue in music really inspires me to keep doing music till I can't anymore.
It's my first time designing a CD album for another artiste. (I have only been designing my own albums and singles so far!) Big thanks to William Cai 前輩 for trusting my designing skills. Hope to have more collaborations real soon. :)
It's always great to see so many kids improving their skills with useful workshops!
Yusof Ishak Secondary School held a Young Journalist event on 28 February 2018 to share with the kids, skills and knowledge on how to be a reporter. 林思彤 Lin Si Tong appeared as a guest interviewee for the kids to practice and apply what they have learnt during the event.
SG:SW held their first annual Mandarin original composition competition in 2017. Haha artistes, Lin Si Tong 林思彤 and Yang Min 楊敏 were invited to perform at the 4th semi-finals round held on 20 August 2017 at Our Tampines Hub.

Haha Music's artiste, Lin Si Tong, together with performers, Lim Tai An, Daniel Lim & Alicia Soh, performed at NKF's Gala Dinner 2017, held on 6 April 2017 at Swissotel The Stamford. Jazzy sing-a-long tunes were sung, and there was a special music performance in collaboration with a patient of NKF!
Artistes and performers of Haha Music: 林思彤 Lin Si Tong, Lim Tai An, Tan Li Yin, Daniel Lim, Alicia Soh, Yap Yi Tian & Marc Wong performed sets of many sing-a-long songs at "Friends of NKF Charity Carnival" event, held on 19-20 November 2016 at IMM.
In conjunction with the event, SMULE Singapore held their competition finals for "SMULE SingerPoreans", where Lin Si Tong was invited to be one of the competition judges!
Like any other couples on their first step to wedding preparations, Tai An and I seriously have no idea on what we should be doing or where we should go. So I decided to do an online search on bridal shops in Singapore. To be honest, at that time, I had no concepts in mind yet with regards to wedding gowns or wedding photography, but was just hoping to chance upon something that will attract my attention. And that was when The Louvre Bridal came into the picture during the search.
I like their simple yet elegant wedding gowns, and the way the gowns stand out in a picture despite their simplicity. Being a frontline artiste/singer-songwriter for 4 years, and a stage performer for more than 10 years, I get to wear many nice clothes during events. But for my wedding, I definitely would prefer something that can represent my inner self more.
And so, we wrote an email to make an appointment with The Louvre Bridal, and received a fast reply the following day.
We made our first trip down to the shop itself in May 2016, and were welcomed by many friendly staff. We had a long chat as they took note of all our dates and details as to what kind of colours and designs of the gowns and suits we prefer etc.. We were then followed up by The Louvre Bridal's production team, with reminder emails and calls when the dates are near. This totally makes everything easier for our busy schedules.
The first wedding gown fit was an exciting one for me. (Tell me which girl is not excited putting on a wedding gown!) I was spoilt for choices, but had some really big help from the staff by suggesting what kind of cuttings, design and colours are more suitable for me. We managed to pick our pre-wedding photoshoot gowns and suits quite fast, all thanks to them!
Do check The Louvre Bridal out at:
If you like them like I do, do share about it to benefit more couples who are still in the "blur like sotong" stage of their wedding preparations!
I will be sharing more on my pre-wedding photoshoots in the next post. Stay tuned! :)
Earlier this year, I produced 3 song tracks for one of Haha Music's client's final year project. Glad to have local musician, Kit Tseung, on board with me for this project for song recordings and mixing. We had 2 pretty local singers, Tay Kewei (鄭可為) & Silver Ang (洪子惠), and 2 little angels Jessica Baughman & Simmorah, for the recording sessions.
I'm happy to attend the Singapore Stories Film Gala 2016 by Temasek Polytechnic, and be able to watch our client's film on the big screen at the Singapore Discovery Centre's theatre. Hearing our products in the theatre is like...WOW!!!
Do support our future local film makers by dropping by Singapore Discovery Centre's theatre from July 2016 to watch their films. It's FREE by the way, so GO!
Si Tong :)
