Nan Chiau High School (南侨中学) had invited our local talented singer-songwriter, 林思彤 Lin Si Tong, to be the guest speaker of their Assembly talk on 22 January 2014. Having written many lyrics and melodies for local drama series, Si Tong inspired many of the students during the talk, and even shared with them her personal experience as a singer-songwriter. She also sang 3 songs from her debut original compositions album 《彤类 Tong's Music》, and gave out her album to encourage the students during the Q&A session.

Nan Chiau High School has also confirmed the commencement of the Mandarin Lyrics Writing Course in the school, where Si Tong will be the instructor of this course.

Due to our precious singer-songwriter's catchy and viral song 《小小故事》, Mediacorp has once again invited Lin Si Tong to appear in one of their TV variety shows, 缤纷万千在升菘 The Sheng Siong Show, on 4 January 2014. Thank you to all supporters who came down to support Si Tong despite the heavy rain!

On a side note, it was definitely this singer's luck, to be able to appear on the same episode as China's singer-songwriter, Qu Wanting (曲婉婷), and even exchanged albums with her at the backstage.
