HAHA MUSIC COLLABORATING ARTISTE
張盈盈 Teo Ying Ying
Singer-Songwriter · Multi-instrumentalist
張盈盈 Teo Ying Ying is a Singapore singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose original music brings contemporary Mandopop together with local language, everyday experiences and cultural identity.
An award-winning songwriter, she creates music that is personal and relatable while celebrating the stories and sounds that connect audiences across generations.
Contemporary Stories Rooted in Local Culture
Ying Ying made her recording debut with 《買咖啡 My Kopi》, a light-hearted tribute to Singapore’s coffee-shop heritage. Released as part of the SG60 celebrations, its music video was created in collaboration with homegrown heritage brand Killiney.
She followed it with 《模糊的記憶 The Quiet Goodbye》, revealing a more reflective side of her songwriting through themes of parting, memory and emotions that gradually become difficult to hold on to.
Her Hokkien original 《紅包來》 further demonstrates her interest in bringing local language and cultural traditions into contemporary music. Together, these works establish Ying Ying as a versatile creative voice with a distinctly Singaporean perspective.
