Emil has been playing the guitar for more than 10 years. He first started with the acoustic and classical guitar, due to his immense passion in pop and rock music, Emil also picked up the electric guitar and has completed all Level 1 Graded Examinations from Rockschool, Europe's No. 1 rock music exam board and partner with Trinity College London. Emil is currently pursuing his last Rockschool Level 2 Graded Examinations for electric guitar. Emil has also obtained Diploma certification in Popular Music Vocals Performance from London College Music (DipLCM).
Emil has been actively teaching students, and also has a wealth of experience providing various music courses such as drums, percussions and ukulele to students, thus stirring their interest and passion in music. However, Emil remains a strong advocate of the guitar as he feels that the versatile instrument fits in with any arrangement of a song and complements every musical style. Besides teaching, Emil is often invited to perform at corporate gigs and weddings. Having a rich-toned voice, Emil is definitely one that attracts many listeners and audience during his performances. Artistes he has worked with include, local actor Pierre Png (方展发), 97.2FM DJ Wallace Ang (洪圣安) and Lin Si Tong (林思彤). |
