Darren has accumulated 8 years of performing experience, and is the lead singer of local funk & rock band, Iris. He has participated in many big events, such as Shine Youth Festival and Youth Olympic Games Concert. His smokey and husky vocal brings out a different feel to songs and music, which often surprises the audience and listeners upon hearing.

Besides singing, Darren is also well-versed in many instruments, mainly guitar and keyboard. He was also the bassist of local singer-songwriter, Lin Si Tong’s showcase at Esplanade concourse.

In the recent 2 years, Darren has started his emcee career, being the emcee of DnD, weddings, charity and corporate events.
